The Prospective Group (TPG) is searching for a Statistical Programmer (5.5 hrs. week) to work in a collaborative team environment on a contract with the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD). The candidate should possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have the flexibility of working both collaboratively and independently.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide statistical support:
• study/survey design
• analysis plan construction and execution
• statistical programming and database management
• Present analysis results to client

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or Bioinformatics or related field
• Two years or more of experience
• Proficient programming skills in R and SAS
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of statistical theory:
• longitudinal data analysis
• high-dimensional data analysis
• Experience in health studies
• Excellent communications skills
