At Freudigman & Billings, we believe students learn best through strong, supportive relationships. Our mission is to help students understand how they learn and take ownership of that process. We offer individualized assessment, customized learning plans, and one-on-one academic coaching for adolescents.

What We Do

Our approach is rooted in cognitive science and informed by our founders’ research at Yale University. We provide high-level academic support across a wide range of subjects including Statistics.

Our instructors work closely with students to clarify complex concepts, build critical thinking skills, and foster academic independence. This work is challenging, rewarding, and often transformative—for both students and instructors.

Who You Are

You have a B.A./B.S. in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. You may already have experience tutoring or teaching high school-level Statistics, or you’re eager to learn. What matters most is your intellectual curiosity, ability to connect with teens, and readiness to grow.

We’ll train you in our pedagogical approach—but you’ll bring energy, empathy, and something special that helps students relate to you. Whether it's a gift for explaining statistical models or simply a great sense of humor, we’re looking for instructors who can build authentic connections with students.

You may also be considered for our rotational training program, where you can gain experience in Educational Therapy and Standardized Test Prep—broadening your skills and your impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field

Reliable transportation—this is an in-person role and not remote
