Design challenges using accessible materials (bridges, towers, vehicles, simple machines)
Coding and computational thinking (sequencing, loops, conditionals—platform dependent)
Robotics exploration (beginner-level kits as available; sensor concepts intro)
Applied math in STEM (estimation, ratios, geometry concepts, measurement)
Collaboration and teamwork roles (planning, communication, reflection)
STEM careers and real-world applications (age-appropriate exploration)
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications (Required)
Minimum of 60 college credits (or Associate degree in progress/completed)
Comfort teaching foundational STEM concepts through hands-on, inquiry-based activities
Experience working with school-age students in structured settings (school, camp, after-school, tutoring, youth programs)
Strong facilitation skills, clear communication, and comfort managing materials and procedures
Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to follow school policies and program boundaries
Ability to maintain safety-first routines and an organized, engaging classroom environment
