Student - Game Management Assistant

General Description:

The Newman University Athletic Department has several openings for Game Management Assistants. This position assists in various gameday functions like ticket and concession sales.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and running the concession stand.
2. Stocking products.
3. Selling tickets at the gate.
4. Providing back door security.
5. Varied tasks on home game days, including table crew work.

Requirements:

1. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
2. Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours).
3. A general knowledge of athletic events, background in sports preferred.
4. Must be punctual and motivated.
5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Number of hours per week: Less than 20 hours

Days and times: Varies week to week with most hours being evenings and weekends

Rate of Pay: $8.25 per hour
