Job Description - Student Services Associate-Campus Store

The Williston Northampton School has an exciting opportunity within our Campus Store. The position is available on a part-time, academic year basis, 35 hours per week/42 weeks per year, Monday-Friday and will also include coverage for Class Saturdays and special events as necessary.  Reporting directly to the Campus Store Manager/Book Store Administrator, the Student Services Associate will be an energetic, team-oriented individual.


 


Duties will include coordination of student related services such as student mail and package delivery inquiries, student lockers, disbursement of allowances, etc. Campus Store responsibilities would include stocking, assisting with new merchandise, maintaining the store’s website and performing inventory. You must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping and bending for extended periods of time and will also include lifting packages up to about 35 lbs. Full job description available.



The successful candidate will have retail and inventory experience, This includes attaching price tags, barcodes, stickers, or other labels to merchandise by tying, pinning, or using a price tagging gun or ticket-printing machine.  Excellent computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products, is necessary, especially Excel. Data entry experience is a plus. Must be well organized, possess strong attention to detail and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Must also have excellent interpersonal skills in order to successfully interact with diverse student population, staff, faculty and other constituents of the School.  Must have flexible work schedule. Must be able to work in secondary boarding school atmosphere by successfully passing CORI, SORI and fingerprint-based background checks. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
