Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED ▪ Type of degree: Allied Health ▪ Area of study or major: Medical Imaging ▪ Preferred educational qualifications: Attending an AMA-accredited program of Medical Imaging Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience ▪ Highly motivated, goal-oriented, with strong communication & interpersonal skills. ▪ Ability to evaluate & prioritize department, technologist and/or nurse, & patient needs. Assists Medical Imaging staff with various procedures necessary to the operational efficiency of the department. Assists with image processing, image management, and patient care. Medical Imaging staff in the assigned area. Is knowledgeable in the daily activities of Medical Imaging and provides patients with the utmost quality of care. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. Preferred experience: Some Medical Imaging experience in an environment consistent with the types of patients and procedures performed within the Medical Imaging Department.
