We are currently looking to add highly-qualified, professional Attendants to our growing team. This is a great opportunity if you are working with children and adults.
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma/GED
Experience working with children in a professional setting. 3+ year preferred.
Knowledgeable of first-aid/CPR techniques (If offered employment, you will be required to become FIRST AID/CPR TRAINED AND CERTIFIED)
Ability to handle and de-escalate situations in a warm, caring, positive and professional manner.
Must have reliable Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Monitors the activities of students while on van enroute to and from school
- Assist students to board vehicles; ensure students are in their seats and properly secured.
- Utilize positive behavior reinforcement strategies, notify and report student disciplinary infractions to Supervisor and create discipline log entry in student tracking portal.
- Assist Driver with entering student attendance, contacting parents, and sending alerts and notifications through student portal.
- Assist driver with maintaining vehicle cleanliness and sanitization; conducting inspections at the beginning/ end of each route.
- Participate in Professional Development Training programs.
- Attends mandatory staff/student meetings and conferences
- Promote climate of inclusivity.
- Maintain professional relationships with families, students, School Team/Administrators/Case Managers.
Pre-Employment Screening
As a condition of employment, applicants that are extended and employment offer must apply/submit a PA Child Abuse Clearance, Fingerprinting (IDENTOGO), PA State Police- CHRI, National Background Testing, Drug and Alcohol Testing, and TB Testing (TUBERCULOSIS) within 5 days of receiving an offer letter. All of the listed requirements are paid for by Lync Transportation Services LLC. In the event the applicant does not have a satisfactory record Lync Transportation Services LLC reserves the right to rescind /withdraw the offer of employment.
