Are you looking for a great part time job this summer? Do you love working with kids? Are you passionate about food? Then you might be who we are looking for! At Taste Buds Kitchen, the Summer Camp Cooking Class Instructor hosts fun and engaging cooking camps for kids! We are looking for a high-energy individual who enjoys inspiring those around them to have fun in the Kitchen. The right candidate should have prior teaching experience, a passion for the food, joy for "performing" in front of other foodies, and the organizational skills required to host cooking classes and events.

Responsibilities:

Instruct cooking camps for ages 4-8 and 9-13.

Engage and teach kids about various cooking/baking skills related to the camp menu

Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our clients

Responsible for the success of the event from start to finish

Interact with all clients to ensure customer satisfaction

Set up before class and clean-up after

Qualifications:

Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment and move quickly

Natural curiosity and passion for food & culinary entertainment

Upbeat personality with an infectious smile

Eagerness to get your hands dirty

Confident with a range of cooking and baking techniques and speaking in front of a group with an amplified speaking voice

At least one or more years of experience working/entertaining kids

Formal teaching experience and training in education, childhood development, or related field is a plus

Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 45 pounds
