The Bridgewater Club is a private club w/ a fun work environment.

The Bridgewater Club is looking for an experienced Swim Instructor who is passionate about water safety and teaching children ages 2 to 14. We offer 30-minute private and/or semi-private lessons from beginner to advanced, as well as stroke development. Bridgewater’s Swim Instructors must have excellent organizational skills and provide outstanding customer service. They also must be high energy, inspiring, fun, outgoing and enjoy working with children!

Schedule:

We are currently looking for a year-round instructor to teach Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 - 7:00pm. There will be opportunities for more lessons if interested. We offer 30-minute private and/or semi-private lessons. Bridgewater offers flexible schedules and competitive pay! 

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Teach private and semi-private lessons according to Bridgewater’s Swim School guidelines, policies and procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests.

• Maintains required lesson records and forms.

• Communicate and enforce all water safety rules.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Available to teach lessons Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 - 7:00pm. 

• Work history showing reliability and longevity at aquatics facility

• Professional

• Organized

• Friendly outgoing personality

• Ability to work with children

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• High energy

• Strong work ethic

Requirements:

• 18 years & older

• 2+ years of experience teaching formal swim lessons or working in a similar field

• Knowledge of swimming strokes and teaching levels

• Ability to work independently

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision

• Competitive swimming background preferred but not required

• Reliable transportation

• Pass a background check prior to training (for ages 18+)

• Must live within 30 minutes of The Bridgewater Club

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $24-$28/hour | (2) 30-minute lessons = 1 hour 

Payrate depends on experience and availability.

Experience:

• 2+ years teaching formal swim lessons

• Competitive swim experience a plus

Certification:

• CPR/First Aid (preferred)
