Tai Chi/Qigong Instructor

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Adapt Tai Chi/Qigong classes for individuals with complex medical conditions, including those using assistive devices.
• Arrive on time and ensure classes are well-organized.
• Keep records of the participants' progress and any important information.
• Work with people from various backgrounds, including those with health challenges.
• Follow guidelines and ensure a safe and supportive class environment.

Requirements:

• Completion of a minimum of 150 hours of formal Tai Chi or Qigong Instructor education, including 50 hours of supervised instruction.
• Certification to provide Tai Chi or Qigong instruction, with a minimum of 30 hours of instruction.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalency.
• Experience teaching Tai Chi or Qigong to vulnerable populations, including those with emotional and physical trauma.
