At 5 Star Cares, we value caregivers who bring compassion, professionalism, and reliability to every shift. We are currently seeking experienced CNAs, DSPs, HHAs, and PCAs to support individuals with medical and behavioral needs in a structured group home environment.

Position Details

• Location: Lutz and surrounding areas


• Shift Options (Friday Only):
  
  
  
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  
  
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  
  
  
  


• Schedule: Friday days or Friday nights only


• Pay Rate: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)


• Caregiver-to-Resident Ratio: 1:6

Role Overview

This position provides direct care and overnight or daytime supervision to residents requiring consistent support. Ideal candidates are dependable, patient-focused professionals seeking a stable, purpose-driven role with a supportive care team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, or similar setting


• Experience working with medium- to high-acuity clients


• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)


• Strong communication and documentation skills


• Proficiency with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene


• Comfortable using assistive devices (wheelchairs, shower chairs, transfer equipment)


• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented


• Experience with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health conditions preferred


• Ability to pass Level 2 background screening


• Compliance with AHCA requirements per House Bill 531 (2025)
