We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!

Responsibilities:

Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills

Prepare any necessary learning materials

Assign homework

Grade assignments and provide feedback

Document students’ learning progress

Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment

Excellent table/classroom management

Report and document behavioral incidents

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification

Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred, but not necessary

Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is one of the things that makes us different.

We utilize material from multiple sources, following the Georgia Standards of Excellence for each grade level. Supplemental materials are used to enhance all curriculum.

We require all students to complete the traditional core four, but we also offer electives like engineering, foreign languages, computer technology, programming, advanced reading, SAT Prep, ACT Prep, art, and music.
