Teacher - Preschool Part Time

Teacher for a 3 year-old Preschool class.  Parents have the options of M/W/F or M-F, with either half or full day.  Both groups meet together. M/W/F would be the main teaching, with T/Th being reinforcement/supplemental.  The school day starts at 8:15, and this poisition would teach in the morning, and oversee the preschoolers lunch, and then would be done at 12:30 M-F.  (Full day 3 year olds would join the full day 4 year old program after lunch.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiating instruction based upon student learning styles.
• Knowledge of Catholic Doctrine and witness of Gospel values
• Knowledge of early childhood school curriculum and concepts.
• Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis, and the formulation of action plans.
• Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.
• Ability to organize and coordinate work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Ability to handle confidential and/or official information with discretion.
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
• Professionalism in attire, communication, and demeanor

Qualifications Profile

• Illinois State Teaching License
• Bachelor's from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
