Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Digital Sales Representative to join our Supply Chain team temporarily. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of online sales and digital marketing. You will learn the entire digital sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to optimizing online listings and engaging with customers across various digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about e-commerce, digital strategy, and driving measurable results in a tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Online Listing Management: Assist in creating, optimizing, and maintaining product listings on various digital sales channels (e.g., eBay, Amazon, company website, social commerce platforms). This includes writing compelling descriptions, selecting keywords, and ensuring high-quality images.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior to identify new sales opportunities and inform digital sales tactics.
Customer Engagement: Support customer inquiries and feedback on digital platforms, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving issues promptly.
Digital Marketing Support: Assist with the execution of digital marketing campaigns designed to drive traffic and conversions to online listings (e.g., social media promotions, email marketing support).
Sales Performance Tracking: Help monitor and analyze sales performance data, identifying trends and contributing to reports on key metrics.
Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of engaging digital content (e.g., product highlights, social media posts, blog snippets) that supports online sales efforts.
Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to existing digital sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to digital sales.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, e-Commerce, or a related field.
Strong interest in digital sales, e-commerce, and online marketplaces.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in business.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
Basic understanding of SEO principles.
Familiarity with specific e-commerce platforms (e.g., eBay Seller Hub, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify).
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) for basic image editing.
Prior experience with any online selling or personal e-commerce projects.
