The Big Picture
This role is all about quality on the ground. As Site Supervisor, you will be a critical team player in ensuring the final chapter of the Academic Achievers Program is completed with integrity and impact. In your role, you will ensure tutoring sessions run smoothly, students are supported, tutors are guided, and families stay informed—right up until the program’s final day.
What You’ll Do
Conduct site orientations for tutors and introduce them to school and community contacts
Coordinate schedules, student rosters, and tutor assignments
Monitor tutoring sessions and provide constructive feedback to tutors, students, and families
Track student progress and communicate updates to parents as needed
Schedule and conduct 1:1 tutor check-ins
Manage tutor daily timesheets and site-level documentation
Assign students to tutors and adjust schedules as needed
Distribute graduation certificates and help close out the program on a positive note

Enjoy working directly with students and educators
Are organized, communicative, and calm under pressure
Have experience in education, tutoring, youth programs, or site coordination
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, social work, or a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with students in educational, tutoring, after-school, or youth development settings
Experience coordinating schedules, managing small teams, or overseeing program activities at a site level
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, tutors, and school partners
Ability to observe instruction or tutoring sessions and provide constructive, supportive feedback
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with attendance, timesheets, and student records
Comfort using basic digital tools (email, shared calendars, spreadsheets, student tracking systems)
Preferred (But Not Required)
Prior experience supervising tutors, volunteers, or paraprofessionals
Familiarity with literacy instruction or English language learning
Experience working in school-based or community-based education programs
