Role Description – Part-Time Assistant Teacher (Toddler & PreK):
We are currently hiring three Part-Time Assistant Teachers to support our Toddler and PreK classrooms during the afternoon and early evening hours. This role is perfect for college students, aspiring early childhood educators, or anyone who loves working with young children and needs a consistent weekday schedule.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM (or until close)
Pay Rate:
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teachers with classroom routines, supervision, and activity transitions.
- Engage children in age-appropriate curriculum and imaginative play.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support children’s emotional and developmental needs through active interaction and care.
- Help with classroom cleanup and preparation for the next day.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Negative TB test and ability to pass a background check.
- Availability to work the full posted schedule consistently.
- Prior experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about early childhood development.
