Toddler Teacher: URGENT HIRING

As a Toddler teacher at the Transformational Education Adventure Center, you will be part of a fast paced business while making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children.  Must be able flexible in this range- Hours: 11:00 am -7:00 pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

- MUST Love working with children

-Exceptional written and oral communication skills 

-Follow county and Dept. of social services standards

-Open for ongoing training

-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with children, families and staff and build a positive relationship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Supervise children attending the program and promote safety and respect amongst all participants.

-Ensure a friendly and supportive atmosphere is maintained by developing appropriate strategies to support children in managing their behavior.

-Assist in the planning and implementation of a daily program which will meet the needs of the children for Ages 15 months+ years

- Monitor individuals or small groups of students assigned to the classroom program; assure student understanding of program rules and procedures; maintain appropriate order and student conduct.

- Assist with planning and conducting an orientation program for parents and students regarding the program's policies and procedures.

- Assist with the development and coordination of a calendar for program activities and events designed to compliment student learning and enrichment

- Maintain a clean and organized environment for students; demonstrate and involve students in cleaning and organizing the program activities areas before, during, and after use/circle time, creative play

- Participate in regular staff meetings and assist with in-service training as needed.
