• Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour


• Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour

Overview:

The Interpersonal Skills Training Center at Arrowhead Ranch is hiring a transportation Operator/Activity Leader to provide transportation and facilitate therapeutic activities for children and youth who are receiving services through RCS. The Transportation Operator/Activity Leader picks up children and youth and takes them to their scheduled treatment activities at Arrowhead Ranch, with an RCS vehicle, in addition to leading groups that help support their treatment goals, under the supervision of the Program Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participates in team meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment planning and problem-solving.


• Provides individual and group rehabilitation treatment services to support clients in improving, maintaining, or restoring functional and daily living skills.


• Accurately documents client progress using DAP format in Progress Notes and Daily Service Logs.


• Submits corrected documentation within 24 hours of notification of any errors.


• Researches, designs, and implements innovative and engaging activities tailored to support clients’ treatment goals.


• Leads and co-leads structured group rehabilitation sessions that address diverse client needs in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.


• Ensures compliance with all State and County Mental Health regulations for services provided.


• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines as outlined in mandatory ongoing training.
  

Classifications and Qualifications: 

• CM I: An individual who has less than two (2) years of FTE experience in the mental health-related field providing direct mental health services.


• CM II: An individual who has at least two (2) years but less than four years of FTE experience in a mental health-related field providing direct mental health services.
  


• CM III: An individual who has at least four (4) years of full-time/equivalent (FTE) experience in a mental health-related field proving direct mental health services. Up to two (2) years of the four (4) years of experience can be substituted by years of education in a mental health-related field. There is a minimum requirement of two (2) years of actual work experience. *

Conditions of Employment:

• Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).


• Must pass a clear background check with CACI, DOJ & FBI.


• CPR and First Aid Certified.


• TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.
  

Driving Requirement:

• Employees are responsible for ensuring the timely renewal of their vehicle insurance policies and providing updated documentation to the agency to remain in good standing and compliant with position requirements.

Training:

• RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, introductions to all RCS departments, and other valuable trainings.
