Transportation Shuttle Driver (On-Call)

Description

The On-Call Transportation Shuttle Driver provides safe and reliable transportation services to participants, ensuring a high standard of customer service. This role involves operating Viticus Group vehicles, such as vans, SV's, or coaches, in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) regulations. Collaboration with internal teams, including CSAs, Food and Beverage, Education, and Human Health, is essential to ensure seamless service delivery.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely provide shuttle driving services for participants using Viticus Group vehicles (vans, SUVs, or coaches)
• Perform weekly transportation safety checks to ensure fleet vehicles are operating efficiently and safely
• Greet participants and passengers with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transportation logistics
• Assist passengers as needed, including helping with luggage or mobility aids

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a physical and drug test for DOT compliance
• Must be at least 21 years of age to obtain a CDL for interstate commerce and to receive endorsements for passengers or hazardous materials
• Class B CDL with a Passenger (P) endorsement would be required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and smell continually.
• Ability to stand, walk and reach frequently
• Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Close vision required to see computer monitor, read documents, and operate copy and fax machine
• Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions
