THE ROLE:

TransPremier is looking for a Truck & Heavy Equipment Detailer to clean, wash, and detail the interior and exterior of dump trucks and heavy equipment used in road construction operations. The ideal candidate has knowledge of heavy equipment detailing services, is detail-oriented, works efficiently, and prioritizes safety. The Truck & Heavy Equipment Detailer will work outdoors and be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our fleet.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Wash and detail the exterior and interior of dump trucks and heavy construction equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as degreasing, pressure washing, scrubbing, vacuuming, window cleaning, etc.
• Operate pressure washer properly without damage to equipment
• Operate other relevant cleaning tools and equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after cleaning to ensure proper detailing and note any damage or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe wash area and work environment.
• Follow all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Refill cleaning supplies and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Wash and detail interior and exterior of company passenger vehicles as assigned.
• May assist with minor maintenance or support tasks as assigned.

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Will work outdoors in a potentially loud environment and around heavy equipment.
• Physical ability includes lifting 25 to 50 lbs. with occasional lifting to 75 lbs.
• Climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, pulling, and driving.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls.
• Good hearing and verbal skills. 
• May require sitting or standing for extended periods of time. 
• Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth and the ability to focus.
• An elevated level of awareness of surroundings and environment.
• Exposure to the following may be present: weather elements, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, flammable materials, oil, grease, cleaning chemicals, gasoline, diesel fuel and hauling material.
