Position Summary:

Responsible for properly executing turndown service for guest rooms each day while meeting all Forbes quality standards. Our Turndown Attendant is to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, and friendly. In addition, maintains public areas which include the lobby, lobby restrooms, conference restrooms, walkways, and corridors in a clean and organized condition. The Turndown Attendant should also be able to address guest requests and concerns and have them taken care of in a timely manner according to resort standards.

Responsibilities:

• Performs turndown service in rooms: making beds, removal of trash, and removal of soiled linen. All turndown rooms need to be treated as if it were a stayover cleaning.


• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom amenities.


• Wipe shower stalls, sinks, clean toilet if necessary.


• Close drapes/shutters.


• Set lighting and thermostat to designated levels.


• Re-hang/fold/drape guests’ clothes


• Organize guests’ personal items on an under liner.


• Always makes themself available for any guest room requests.


• Anticipate guest's needs, acknowledge guests, and respond promptly.


• Cleans hallways and maintains all lobbies and public restrooms.


• Sweeps entryways of the lobby and ensures all mats are clean.


• Keeps all public areas clean and free of trash.


• Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap, and hand towels in all public restrooms.


• Maintain clean and safe work area.

  Required to bend, stoop, stand and reach overhead for prolonged periods.

  Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
