Job Description- Unarmed Security Guard with Mobile Patrol $17.00

Must have a valid NJ SORA/Driver license in order to apply for this position.

PATROL. INSPECT & MONITOR
Prior to the commencement of each shift, the mobile patrol officer should complete a vehicle review checklist. Mobile patrol officer secures the premise and residents property patrolling in a marked security vehicle, monitoring access points; permitting or refusing entry. Rapid alarm response is crucial for desired outcomes.

PREVENT LOSSES. REPORT & INFORM
The mobile security officer serves first as a deterrent and then as a witness to criminal activities. Unless action is needed to protect the lives of the client or the client’s residents, the officer should understand that his role is to observe and report any criminal incidents. The officer must avoid becoming involved in vehicle chases or similarly elevated levels of retaliatory action.
We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our clients premises and protection of their staff and residents. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.
A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.
The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Security Officer Responsibilities
Include:
* Patrolling premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
* Monitoring and authorizing entrance of vehicles or people in the property
* Removing wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
* Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
* Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
* Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
* Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
* Provide assistance to people in need
* Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
* Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Required:

* High school or equivalent
*Driver's License (Clean driver history last 3 years)
* Must be able to work some holidays
* The ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and consent to a credit check
* The ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
* Must have a VALID SORA LICENSE
*Customer Service skills
*Proven experience as security officer or guard
*Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
*Familiarity with report writing
*Excellent surveillance and observation skills
*Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
*Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
