Job Title: Non-Commissioned Security Officer Level II (unarmed)

Pay: $16-$20/hour Depending on Qualifications, paid weekly

Status: Full Time Officer

Shifts: 12am-7am Monday-Friday and 24 hour coverage on Weekends

Position Summary:

First Responder Protective Services is looking for the ideal candidate for a PART-TIME TX DPS Certified Non-Commissioned Security Officer position with our company. No experience required.

Hiring for an unarmed, Full Time position to work at our contracted site in the Little Elm. Opportunities for advancement include full time armed positions and supervisory positions.

Current projects include patrolling a residential neighborhood under construction. fire watch details, and other low-profile sites, where level II guards observe and report only.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain your security licenses, uniforms, and equipment.
• Write detailed and accurate daily reports of incidents or irregularities for submission to the customer.
• Protect property from theft or damage, or persons from hazards or interference.
• Enforce property rules and regulations designed to prevent breaches of security.
• Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start to avoid any clock in complications (not expected to work until shift starts).
• Follow post orders. Scan QR codes and patrol as instructed. Complete daily shift observation report.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have reliable cell phone and transportation.
• Must have valid TX Driver's License and favorable driving history.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Some posts may require the use of your POV while outside when not walking.
• Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions from management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to respect sensitive and confidential information that may be learned on post.
• Must not be seen on camera or by client playing, texting, or talking on their cell phone.
• Must be able to stay awake and alert for entire duration of shift.

Benefits:

• $16-$20 hour Depending on qualifications with 1.5x overtime after 40 hours in a pay period
• W2 position (OT starts after 40 hours in same work week & taxes taken out) Weekly direct deposit payment

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Preferred Requirement:

• Active Non-Commissioned Security Officer License issued from the TX Dept of Public Safety Private Security Board (Company will provide training to ideal candidate to obtain license if not already licensed)
• Military experience preferred

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)

• Uniform Polo

License/Certification:

• State of Texas Level II Security License.
