Job Posting: Part-Time Pool Monitor (Summer 2025)

**Location:** Victorville, CA

**Pay Rate:** $17.00 - $18.50 per hour (DOE)

**Schedule:** Part-Time, Temporary | Summer 2025 | 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, observant, and professional Pool Monitor to join our seasonal team in Victorville. This is a uniformed, unarmed security position responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming pool environment for residents. The position will be outside in all weather

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor pool area for safety, compliance, and resident-only access

· Verify the residency of pool guests and enforce community pool rules

· Complete hourly Detex patrols and submit activity reports every 30–60 minutes

· Maintain clear communication with Dispatch via two-way radio or company phone

· Provide a visible security presence to deter inappropriate or illegal behavior

· Address incidents calmly and effectively, escalating when necessary

· Use mobile reporting software and follow post orders diligently

· Remain on-site throughout shift, standing/walking as needed in various weather conditions

Qualifications:

· Valid California Guard Card (REQUIRED before employment)

· Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

· Punctual, dependable, and able to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays

· Professional in appearance and demeanor

· Able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing

· Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills

· Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

· Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Valid California Guard Card is required before employment begins
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comes to work; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned) to maintain an excellent attendance and punctuality standard.
• Ability to work different assigned shifts, including availability on weekends and holidays
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.
• Understands and successfully executes his/her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations.
• Neat and professional appearance.
