Job Description - Unlicensed Insurance Agency Support Specialist

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Unlicensed Insurance Agency Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily agency operations by assisting with onboarding new clients, managing cancellation and pending cancellation lists, processing incoming mail, and welcoming walk-in customers. While a license is not required, strong communication and administrative skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the onboarding process for new clients, including collecting documentation and entering client data accurately

Monitor and work cancellation and pending cancellation lists to help retain business and support the service team

Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and ensure documents are scanned and routed correctly

Greet and assist walk-in clients professionally and promptly

Support agency staff with clerical tasks and follow-ups as needed

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with care

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes

Professional, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn agency management software
