About the Role

We’re looking for a committed in-person tutor to join the PS 346 Abe Stark team as a Push-In Support Tutor for upper elementary students. In this role, you’ll support classroom teachers by delivering small-group and one-on-one instruction in Math and ELA for grades 3–5. You’ll rotate through different classrooms throughout the day to provide targeted academic support based on student needs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide in-class support for grades 3–5 students in Math and ELA.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to reinforce instructional goals.

• Work with small groups or individual students to strengthen key academic skills.

• Support differentiated instruction and classroom routines.

• Build positive relationships with students and teachers.

• Track and communicate student progress to school staff.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced: You’ve worked with elementary-aged students, ideally in a classroom or tutoring environment.

• Academic Focused: Comfortable tutoring both Math and ELA content for grades 3–5.

• Reliable & Punctual: You can commit to the full program schedule without conflict.

• Collaborative: You’re a team player who works well with teachers and other school staff.
