Urgent Hiring! After School Care Teacher

Premiere Childcare Center in McLean, VA is looking for a After Cae Program Teacher to oversee our School Aged Program. The Hours will be Monday thru Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30  pm. The teacher will oversee the daily operations of the school aged program including/not limited too:

Driving a 15 passenger van if the need arises to transport children to and from school and trips

Classroom Management 

Implementing School Policies and Protocols

Maintaining state licensing standards

Maintaining safety protocols

Brightwheel app management

Vehicle Logs- Maintenance Oversight

Open communication with Families

Good relationships with staff, children and families

Classroom Supervision 

Assisting children with  homework

Other paperwork, tasks as assigned

Applicant Requirements

Over 25 years of age

Able to lift and carry over 40 pounds

Willing to get CPR/First Aid Certification or has current

Willing to get MAT trained (Medication Authorization Trained)

Have at least 1 year working in a licensed childcare program (School Aged Group)

Associates Degree or Higher in Early Childhood Education (Preferred but not required)

Able to pass all background checks
