Venue and Operations Lead

If you are a detail-oriented and proactive team player with a heart for ministry and a passion for connection and community, Hillsong California team is seeking a part-time Venue & Operations Lead (20 hours per week) based in our Orange County location. In this role, you will play a vital role in overseeing our venue management, venue hires and Sunday operations.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

OC Event Venue Management (Gillette House)

• Manage all inquiries, bookings, and event coordination 


• Handle contracts, scheduling, invoicing, and vendor relationships 


• Manage casual/hourly venue assistants, including shift scheduling, attendance and time-tracking administration 


• Track usage data and maintain a high standard of excellence 


• Pursue new opportunities to grow Gillette House visibility and usage 


• Ensure all events meet venue, safety, and compliance standards

Sunday Operations

Support the behind-the-scenes logistics that help Sundays run smoothly and feel intentional: 

• Manage building access, coordinate volunteer call times, and oversee key campus logistics 


• Support team leads and respond
  to real-time service needs 


• Ensure environments are welcoming and prepared with excellence

Orange County Building & Facilities Administration 

• Assist Campus Pastor and Business Manager daily building operations 


• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers as required

Ideally, a successful candidate will have: 

• 3 years of experience in operations or administration 


• 3 years of leadership experience in a ministry setting 


• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn various church system and platforms


• Strong organizational and time-management skills 


• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills 


• Proven ability in stakeholder and relationship management
