Venue Coordinator - Catering

Saz’s Hospitality Group is seeking a Venue Coordinator to provide remarkable experiences for our clients and guests at our catering events. What's great about the role? No shift will be the same! This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes at some of the most notable venues in the Milwaukee area.

Okay, but what does a Venue Coordinator do?

• Collaborate with our catering team and vendor partners to assist with set-up needs, ensure the timeline is maintained, and the food service is punctual  
• Prepare event spaces – help setup and confirm accuracy of room layout, ensure the event space looks impeccable inside and out before guests arrive
• Greet clients and guests, assist with their needs before, during, and after the event
• Ensure a comfortable guest experience by monitoring lighting and HVAC settings, making sure restrooms are stocked with necessary items
• Execute onsite ceremonies by coordinating rehearsals and room setup from ceremony to reception layout 

Requirements

 What are the requirements for a Venue Coordinator?

• High energy, creativity, organization, and a passion for service
• Great interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to various locations throughout the Milwaukee area
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to carry 25–50 pounds 

What else do you need to know?

• Weekend and evening availability is required – this is an “events-based” position, and most of our events are Thursday through Sunday evenings 
• We offer flexible schedules – work as much or as little as you want
