Volunteer Position (non-paid position)

Purpose: You’ll contribute to a cause close to your heart. Meet like-minded individuals, professionals, and community leaders. Gain valuable hands-on experience in event management, nonprofit operations, and community outreach. 

Requirements

Volunteer Duty Description:

General Daily Volunteer Duties

•  Assist with lunchtime.
• Assist with class projects.
• Assist with parties and events. 
• Assist with community outings.

Event Set-Up and Tear-Down

• Assist with setting up event booths, signage, tables, and chairs.
• Help with decorations, staging, and organizing event spaces.
• Pack up and tear down after the event.

Registration Desk

• Greet attendees and assist with event check-ins.
• Distribute event materials, name tags, and schedules.
• Answer any questions about the event and direct attendees to key locations.

Event Day Assistants

• Help manage event flow and ensure speakers/presenters are on schedule.
• Direct attendees to sessions, workshops, or activities.
• Assist as needed throughout the day (e.g., handing out programs, refreshments,      etc.).

Fundraising Support

• Help with silent auctions and donation booths.
• Assist guests with donation forms and tracking contributions.
• Promote the cause and encourage attendees to participate in fundraising efforts.

Hospitality and Refreshment Support

• Assist in setting up and maintaining food and drink stations.
• Ensure that guests have access to refreshments throughout the event.
• Help with replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness.

Location: Pueblo Diversified Industries Campus and or Location of Events 

Time Commitment:   Volunteer shifts vary depending on the event. We have opportunities for both full-day and partial-day commitments. Please specify your availability when applying.

Qualifications: Passion for our mission and a desire to make a difference in the community. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
