Job Responsibilities:

• Install, replace, and maintain residential and commercial water meters

• Accurately record and report meter data using handheld devices

• Troubleshoot meter-related issues and ensure correct readings

• Maintain clear, detailed records of installations and repairs

• Follow safety procedures and comply with utility regulations

• Interact professionally with customers

Training Provided:
Don’t worry if you haven’t installed a meter before. We provide comprehensive paid training (3 to 5 days). If you bring a strong work ethic, we’ll help you gain the skills you need to succeed quickly and maximize your earnings.

Qualifications:

• Prior water meter or plumbing experience is helpful, but not required

• Comfort using hand tools and working outdoors

• Ability to work independently and meet daily goals

• Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle is required to perform this job (trucks preferred; cars acceptable)

• Physically capable of lifting, kneeling, and working in meter pits

Work Conditions:

• Field-based role throughout the Sarasota area

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions

• Meter pits have been professionally vacuumed for cleaner installation access

Pay Structure:

• $15 per meter installed

• 20+ meters per day expected once trained

• Paid training at hourly rate
