Job Overview:

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver and remove all materials and waste needed for all manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous operation and delivery schedules are met. This role is critical to the efficient flow of our manufacturing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Continuously control the flow of production in the manufacturing process.
• Ensure that all pulled components of each job are organized and grouped in assigned staging areas.
• Remove waste materials and assist operators with waste management.
• Assist in continuous improvement of workflow and processes to enhance productivity.
• Adhere to safety standards and alert safety hazards to the Area Manager.
• Conduction business in alignment with Seaway’s core values:

• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Safety - Zero RLTAs (Recordable Lost Time Accident)
• Quality - Cost of Quality
• Productivity for your cell - OEE for planned vs actual productivity

• Measured in a decrease in operator-related downtime

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing environment or prior printing experience preferred

Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)

• Able to read and understand production schedules, job tickets, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to follow directions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and make critical decisions.
• Ability to operate forklifts and electric and manual pallet jacks.

• Manufacturing process and supply inventory control upstream and downstream working knowledge
