Job Description - Weekend Breakfast Grill Cook

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Position Overview

Golden Corral is seeking a dependable and skilled Weekend Breakfast Grill Cook to prepare, cook, and serve breakfast items for our guests. The cook will start preparation at 7:00 AM, serve breakfast from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and then transition the grill for dinner menu preparation beginning after 11:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

Arrive promptly at 7:00 AM to set up and prepare the grill station.

Cook and serve breakfast menu items (eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, etc.) during breakfast hours (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM).

Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.

Follow Golden Corral recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards.

Restock and prep food as needed to meet guest demand.

Transition grill operations after 11:00 AM to begin preparing for dinner service.

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards (cleaning grill, utensils, and prep areas).

Provide excellent guest service with a friendly and positive attitude.

Qualifications

Prior grill or line cook experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen equipment operation.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Saturdays & Sundays only).

Breakfast Service: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Transition: After 11:00 AM, assist in preparing the grill for dinner service

Other Additional Shifts Available as Well

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
