Weekend Caregiver Opportunity in Royal Oak

NOW HIRING: Royal Oak Opportunity – Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for a female client in Royal Oak. This is a 6-hour Saturday shift, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

📌 Reliable transportation is required, as the caregiver must be able to transport the client for outings such as trips to the park, movies, or other social activities.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep

• Assist with dementia and Alzheimer’s care

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene)

• Safe transfers using gait belts and Hoyer lifts (training provided)

• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and outings

• Ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and dignity

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication (verbal and written)

• Must be physically able to lift up to 25 lbs., bend, and walk throughout shift

• At least 18 years of age

• Valid driver’s license or state ID

• Reliable transportation with insurance and registration

• Access to a mobile phone for communication

• Must pass a background check

• Current TB test (can be completed after interview)

• Dependability and punctuality are a must
