Job Description - Weekend Hair Stylist for Kids

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is hiring a for happy and energetic Part-Time Weekend Stylist to join our growing team! We’re on a mission to WOW our clients from the minute they arrive. Smiles and a positive attitude are a must, and we treat all our team members like family!

Ongoing training from a professional local barber

✂️Qualifications

Must have active cosmetology or barber license

Must be able to cut Boys/Mens hair

Weekend Availability

Ability to work with kids 0-14

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere

✂️Availability

Saturdays/Sundays 8am - 6pm

1-2 Weekdays: 3-6pm

15-20 hours per week

Occasional pop-up events at local school festivals

✂️We are flexible for the right candidate! If you can only work Saturday/Sunday mornings, we'd still love to connect with you! Our weekend hours are Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. Weekdays vary.

✂️Hair Stylist Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional client experience for kids and families

Listen and communicate clearly with clients to deliver the highest level of service

Educate clients on retail products that are best suited for their needs

Maintain cleanliness of the salon

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Franchise has been in business for 19 years with over 100+ locations nationwide. Our location has been servicing the North Dallas area for over a year, and we have already built a strong connection with our community and the youth here. As a premier provider of kid haircuts, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids brings fun, excitement, and expertise to the Dallas hair-cutting industry. At Sharkey’s we believe Family comes first and understand the importance of work life balance. If being in a fun work environment where your creativity is valued sounds too good to be true, we would love to meet you!

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
