Weekend On-Call In Home Caregiver or CNA

Job Summary for Weekend On-Call Caregiver 

Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines, NC is seeking a reliable, honest, caring individual that enjoys spending time with seniors. This position will provide non-medical, in-home support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients as well as home management services. Provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and/or minimum guidance to assure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment. This position will provide skilled care giving services in urgent situations. The On-Call Caregiver must be available from 5 PM Friday - 9 PM Sunday. This position is guaranteed 15 hours of pay as long as all offered shifts are accepted. Response time for an open shift should not exceed 20 minutes. Time off requests must be submitted two weeks in advance.

Pay ranges from $14 - $16 / hour.

Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Must be available Friday 5pm - Sunday 9pm


• Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and current insurance policy


• At least one year professional experience as a caregiver or home health aide


• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment


• Team player who values friends and family


• Must be able to pass a national background check and drug screen
