Job Description - Weekend Receptionist at Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club




Receptionist Job Responsibilities:



  • Saturday and Sunday; 9am - 5pm; flexibility to occasionally work weekdays

  • Greeting members

  • Monitor front desk 

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls

  • Handling queries via phone, email and general correspondence

  • Transferring calls as necessary

  • Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time

  • Handling transcription, printing, photocopying and faxing

  • Coordinating internal and external events

  • Managing office inventory such as stationery and equipment

  • Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area

In addition: 
Performs administrative and marketing support tasks, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Inputting dining reservations 

  • Assisting as hostess when needed 

  • Assisting with member events (collecting RSVPS, event prep, event execution, event clean up, etc.) 

  • Assisting with creating and distributing member communications 

  • Compile information for and assemble newsletters 

  • Assist with managing graphic templates and using as appropriate, strongly desired


Receptionist Qualifications



  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • High level of professionalism and courtesy

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • Works well with others and can multitask

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software

  • Experience with Canva, strongly desired 

  • Experience with email software systems; Constant Content or Mail Chip, preferred 

  • Great attention to detail
