Job Title: Weekends Only Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA

Company: Home Health Care, Inc.

Schedule: Saturdays AND Sundays Only (can be every other)

Pay: $42 - $46 per visit.

Mileage reimbursement between clients!

Duties

• Assist physical
  therapists in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized
  treatment plans.
  
• Implement therapeutic
  interventions such as exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
  under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  
• Monitor patient progress
  and provide feedback to the supervising therapist regarding changes in
  patient condition or response to treatment.
  
• Educate patients and
  their families on exercises, home programs, and safety measures to enhance
  recovery.
  
• Maintain accurate
  documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with clinic
  policies and medical regulations.
  
• Collaborate with
  multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
• Stay updated on best
  practices in physical therapy and participate in ongoing professional
  development.
  

Experience

• Previous experience in a
  clinical setting is preferred, with exposure to both inpatient and
  outpatient environments.
  
• Familiarity with medical
  terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential for effective communication
  within the healthcare team.
  
• Skills in trigger point
  therapy and experience working with pediatrics or within skilled nursing
  facilities are advantageous.
  
• A strong understanding
  of physical therapy principles, including rehabilitation techniques for
  various conditions, is necessary for success in this role.
  
• Experience in home
  health settings is a plus but not mandatory.
