As a Wellness Customer Service employee at Valley Natural Foods, you’ll provide exceptional service, share product knowledge, and help create a welcoming and educational shopping experience. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist customers in finding wellness products that suit their needs, including supplements, personal care items, and holistic remedies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product benefits, and ingredient knowledge to provide accurate recommendations.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked wellness department, including merchandising, stocking, and inventory management.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging environment where customers feel supported in their wellness journeys.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support co-op values and initiatives.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with vitamins, supplements, natural beauty aids and homeopathy
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication (oral, aural, and written) skills
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task and remain flexible to the changing needs of the business
  • English proficiency with previous customer service experience
  • Familiarity with computers
  • Regular, predictable attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous inventory experience
  • Familiarity with natural foods, grocery industry or cooperatives

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 10 pounds frequently, 20+ pounds occasionally
  • Manual dexterity with ability to reach, grasp and utilize hands, wrists, and fingers for extended periods of time
  • Close-to-general range visual acuity to evaluate and interact in working environment and focus on and/or read data and words on a computer monitor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, bend, and be exposed to a refrigerated environment occasionally required
