ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLE Tradewind Aviation is looking for a seasonal part-time Ramp Assistant to be based in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 · Monitor aircraft arrivals. 

· Resupply stock cart as needed. 

· Support pilots by providing ice, cold water, and aircraft stock supplies planeside as aircraft arrive. 

· Assist pilots with moving bag cart from reception area to ramp for loading. 

· Assist pilots with loading and unloading passenger baggage. 

· Help the concierge keep passenger catering area neat and stocked. 

· Keep vacuum cleaners charged, contents emptied and available. 

· Assist pilots with escorting passengers to FBO building, maintaining ramp awareness and personal / pax safety. 

· Support crew meal deliveries by placing them into refrigerator. 

· Assist pilots with other support requests when able. 

Requirements

  Required Education and Experience

· Must have strong work ethics, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and have a positive attitude

· Hospitality or marketing experience

· Analytical and proficient with data analysis

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Demonstrated organizational and project management skills

· Ability to work independently and cohesively in a group

· High energy, highly organized and resourceful

· Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneDrive, Teams

· Knowledge of WordPress website management platform

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer

· Strength to lift 75 lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
