DEPARTMENT: Community Services – WIC Program
POSITION TITLE: Nutritionist
LOCATION: Franklin/Hampshire Counties/Multiple Sites
STATUS: Non-Exempt
SUPERVISOR: Senior Nutritionist
**This is a part-time position up to 20hrs/week and is currently funded through June 30, 2025 with possibility of renewal pending on funding**
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide nutrition assessment, education, and counseling to participants in individual and group settings. The Nutritionist provides services at multiple WIC sites and includes some evening and weekend hours.

4. Communicates with health care community on issues pertaining to participant needs.
5. Provides nutritional care for low-risk applicants and participants as needed.
6. Required to travel regularly throughout the service area, to CAPV office locations.
7. Comply with agency and funders’ paperwork requirements and procedures.
8. Attend regularly scheduled supervision meetings, staff and department-wide meetings, mandatory agency trainings, and participate in professional development activities.
9. Maintain strictest confidentiality.
