WSC Event Space Coordinator

The WSC Event Space Coordinator oversees the logistics of of the community spaces available for use by members of the WSC community for events. This may include WSC sponsored events (WSA, WWF, etc.) as well as those of a personal nature such as birthday parties, showers, etc., as requested by members of the community. This does not include events managed by the WSC Hospitality Coordinator.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor the space reservations calendar for upcoming events


• Meet with the event host prior to the event to go over rules, responsibilities, and expectations


• Tidy up the space as needed


• Maintain basic cleaning supplies - can send requests to FOA for purchase or get reimbursed


• Inspect the space following events to ensure compliance with rules and responsibilities


• Report any issues or infractions to Facilities and Housing Manager or VPFO for follow up


• Coordinate occasional use of the space for facilitating handing down of furniture and household belongings at the end and beginning of the school year. Ensure everything is removed by the agreed upon date.
