X-Ray Technologist

Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of injuries and illnesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans

- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety

- Operate and maintain imaging equipment

- Review images to ensure quality and accuracy

- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality

- Follow safety procedures and protocols to minimize radiation exposure

- Office tasks as needed.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an accredited X-Ray Technology program

- Current state license or certification

- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

- Ability to operate and maintain imaging equipment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
