Yoga Instructor

Location: Baltimore, MD 

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Develop yoga classes for older Veterans enrolled in the Gerofit program, considering their age and chronic health conditions.
• Monitor and report any mobility or flexibility concerns to Gerofit staff immediately after each class.
• Ensure all yoga practices align with safety guidelines for older adults.

Requirements:

• Certification as a yoga instructor with current and unrestricted status.
• Experience in designing yoga classes for older adults with chronic conditions is preferred.
• Strong observational skills to identify and report participant concerns.
• Ability to adapt yoga practices to meet the specific needs of Veterans.
