Yoga Instructor

Location: Marion, IN.

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Adapt yoga classes for individuals with complex medical conditions, including those using assistive devices.
• Arrive on time and ensure classes are well-organized.
• Keep records of the participants' progress and any important information.
• Work with people from various backgrounds, including those with health challenges.
• Follow guidelines and ensure a safe and supportive class environment.

Requirements:

• Certified through Yoga Alliance e-RYT 200 or equivalent (200 hours of training plus 1,000 documented teaching hours), RYT 500, or C-IAYT.
• Completion of Trauma-Informed Yoga training.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalency.
• Experience teaching yoga to vulnerable populations, including those with emotional and physical trauma.
