Yoga Instructor

Part-time; This individual are responsible for providing safe, effective, and enjoyable classes for members and guests of Cooper Fitness Center.

Schedule: M-F and weekends, depending on schedule

Yoga Instructor Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Be an excellent role model

• Plan and be fully prepared for class

• Provide safe group exercise classes with a variety of movements while complying with established formats and industry standards

• Educate members in proper training principles and exercise techniques; refer members to alternative formats when appropriate

• Report any problems, member complaints/comments/concerns or exercise areas needing attention to the Mind-Body Director immediately

• Assist in promoting fitness center activities

The ideal Yoga Instructor will possess:

• Minimum two years’ experience preferred.

• Current CPR/AED

• Current nationally recognized group exercise leader certification specific to areas of responsibility. (i.e. ACE, AFAA, CIAR, etc.)
