General Summary: Edgeworks strives to build responsible, independent, lifelong climbers. Yoga instructors are responsible for teaching assigned classes, creating routines for our members to practice, preparing the yoga room for class and sorting/cleaning equipment after classes. Our yoga classes are a benefit for our members and Edgeworks strives to provide quality classes and ample opportunity for our members and guests to better themselves and live more healthfully. 

Core Functions:

• Provide a welcoming environment for people of all ability levels.


• Create routines and guide people through their practice.


• Choose appropriate music for different classes.


• Teach assigned classes and substitute for classes when needed/available


• Teach classes at both our Crossroads & Bel-Red locations in Bellevue, WA

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 200 hour Yoga Instructor certification from an accredited organization   


• Minimum 450 hour Pilates certification from an accredited organization  


• Reliable and professional employee with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with yoga instruction 


• Additional Yoga or Pilates Instructor training/certifications


• Background in rock climbing and other outdoor activities


• Available to work weekends

Employment Status & Compensation:

• Part time


• Salary DOE (Between $40 - $55 per class)
