Youth After School Club Instructor

Qualifications 

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree or higher required

  
  

• 
  

  Current CPR certification and First Aid training 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience working with children ages 3-10

  
  


• Teaching certification preferred

Responsibilities 

• 
  

  Instruct select after school clubs for either JPK-K or Grades 1-5 and have availability once per week on assigned club date from 3:30pm-5pm

  
  


• Winter session runs Nov. 17 - Feb. 27 for a 12 week period

• 
  

  Supports and upholds the mission and values of the International School of Texas 

  
  

• 
  

  Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters 

  
  

• 
  

  Models professional conduct while instilling these characteristics within team members 

  
  

• 
  

  Continually monitors and supervises all activities of the participants

  
  

• 
  

  Follows school policies regarding safety guidelines 

  
  

• 
  

  Communicates with Athletics & Activities Director efficiently

  
  

• 
  

  Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits 

  
  

• 
  

  Uses approved, corrective, and positive discipline procedures in dealing with inappropriate student conduct 

  
  

• 
  

  Required to maintain composure 

  
  

Benefits

  $1,000 stipend per position for $50-$60 per hour
