Position Overview:

In this impactful role, you'll guide high school students with disabilities through employment readiness, job placement, on-the-job training, and life skills development. You’ll work both in classroom settings and one-on-one with students, helping them build confidence, independence, and the tools they need to thrive in competitive employment.

Pay: $22.00 per hour + opportunity to earn bonuses
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours during and after school
Travel: Required within Naples/Collier County to school sites and employer locations

What You'll Do:

• Teach essential workplace and life skills using certified curriculum
• Guide youth through job readiness, job search, and job placement
• Coach and support students during internships, job shadowing, and field experiences
• Provide individualized vocational counseling and self-advocacy training
• Collaborate with schools, families, and local employers

What We're Looking For 

Required:

• Associate’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in vocational rehab, job coaching, placement, or working with persons with disabilities
• Experience supporting individuals with job skills, life skills, and behavioral needs
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the area (must meet driver requirements)

Preferred (or willing to obtain within 30 days):

• VR Employment Specialist Certification
• AHLEI Train-the-Trainer Certification
• CPR/First Aid Certification
