Youth Fitness & Sports Coach (Multi-site Support)

Position: Coach

Location: Chino, Chino Hills, Diamond Bar, Fullerton, Brea, Yorba Linda, Anaheim, Buena Park, Diamond Bar, Walnut, Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, & Whittier

Shift: Mornings and/or Afternoons

Pay: $30 per hour. Opportunity for advancement to Head Coach role at $35/hour, based on program growth and performance

Part-time Role: 5 hours/week to start, with potential to grow

Bonus: If you have Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, we offer an extra pay incentive to recognize your qualifications and expertise!

About Us:

We proudly operate two of the nation’s leading youth enrichment programs: Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes — both designed to help children build confidence, learn foundational athletic skills, and develop a lifelong love of movement.

Soccer Stars offers high-energy, non-competitive soccer classes for children ages 1 to 10, using fun and play-based learning to teach soccer fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence.

Amazing Athletes is the country’s most popular multi-sport educational program for children ages 18 months to 6 years, introducing them to 11 different sports while also teaching healthy habits, motor skill development, and self-confidence.

Our programs run year-round and are taught in preschools, parks, and community spaces. We believe that every child is an athlete and every class is an opportunity to inspire active futures — including for those with adaptive needs.

Schedule:

Candidates must have availability Tuesday through Sunday between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, as this is when the majority of our classes are held.

There may also be occasional needs for afternoon availability on those same days between 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, though this is infrequent.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist head coaches during classes at various schools
• Lead classes when needed and teach in a fun and structured way that covers the curriculum
• Show up to classes on time and prepared to coach
• Engage with children to create a positive learning environment
• Interact with teachers, parents and directors
• Understanding responsibilities while children are under your supervision and ensuring their safety
• Learn the Amazing Athletes and Soccer Stars curriculum and coaching techniques

• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation to the below cities:
• Chino
• Chino Hills
• Diamond Bar
• Fullerton
• Walnut
• Brea
• Yorba Linda
• Anaheim
• Buena Park
• Rowland Heights
• Hacienda Heights
• Whittier
• When requested, must have a reliable vehicle with sufficient space to transport athletic equipment
• When requested, Must be able to store equipment securely between classes to prevent damage or theft
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Enthusiasm for sports and working with young children
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and punctuality are needed
• Prior experience with teaching children, sports or fitness is a plus!
